Spotlight on Someone Else

I have a couple of questions I want to pose to people in the ASiF forums:

1. Tonight there was a special on 'most inspirational movies of all time'. It got me thinking: [strong]what is it that inspires you?[/strong]

2. This one is something I've been wondering about for a while: what is it that you define as success? It doesn't have to be in terms of writing, though that's mostly where the question interests me. What is success to you?

Answers over at the forum.

Unless you really, REALLY want to leave a comment here, of course...

How to quiet a crowd

Apparently the suggestion that some readers should be locked into a fetid cell has silenced the majority of forum attendees.

I don't know why. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Mentoring gets a workout, I take a moment to comment on writing groups (not necessarily positively) and at any moment now I'm gonna start talking about the skewed perspectives of blogs. At the forum.

So far I've been asked about inspiration, process, plans, and theme.

No one has yet asked about mules, mobile phones, my penchant for not answering a knock at the door, or the colour green.

But you can. At the ASiF forums until 17 October. Try the veal!

For the next two weeks, I'll be at the ASiF forums, where you can ask me anything you like. But remember: the answer to 'what is the fastest cat in the world' has always been 'the cheetah'.

ASiF forums: Go On, Ask Me Anything*.
